Divine Feminine
Late at night I look to the stars searching for myself –
the ethereal being that exists beyond and within
this solitary body yearning to run with her as she
bounds fearlessly across shimmering galaxies as if
they were tepid rivers lapping at her bare feet
while the moon watches on in wonder,
catching my voice in crystalline hands
spreading my words like diamonds
across an inky black sky, each carrying a plea
for her to return and make me whole again.
